Southeast Electric Flight Festival (SEFF)
Held May 1-4, 2008 in Americus, Georgia

This was the second year in a row that Millennium R/C attended the Southeast
Electric Flight Festival held at Hodges' Field in Americus, Georgia and it is
definitely a show they plan to return to. For the past two years, Millennium R/C
has been a proud sponsor, gladly donating prizes to this world-class event's
raffle.

Early last year, Millennium R/C's president, James Karpy, who has been active
in the R/C airplane hobby since he was a young boy, had finally decided to
release some of his innovative ideas as new products and decided to test the
market by setting up a table at SEFF. He brought some laser-cut build kits
he had designed for the aerobatic built-up wing upgrade to the Slow Stick
airplane, as well as his new landing gear design and a prototype for his
MicroSSX airplane. The response was overwhelmingly positive and with new
resolution, he moved forward to develop an ARF version of both the larger
Slow Stick X and the smaller MicroSSX airplanes. In a year's time, Millennium
R/C has taken off to develop a total of four airplane designs (Slow Stick X,
X-Trainer, MicroSSX and MicroSSX Biplane), some of which are available
either as build kits or as ARFs and a new, improved ABS plastic, nylon blend
and carbon fiber landing gear which adapts to many plane models, as well as
the newly-released strong and lightweight outrunner motor mount.

SEFF was an exciting event: the weather was great, the southern hospitality
was unsurpassed and the attendees were just the nicest group of people
around. To finally be able to put faces with the names of people they had
communicated with throughout the year and to meet so many satisfied and
returning customers was very rewarding for James and Karen Karpy. Seeing
friends they had met at last year's event, was great too. It was encouraging to
have customers bringing their friends over to show them all that Millennium
R/C had to offer. James Karpy, and his business partner, Moses Alicea, took
turns letting new customers try their hand at flying many of the display
airplanes. Many smiling faces returned to purchase their own plane after
seeing how much fun they had, despite the wind at times.

Being able to participate in the Guinness World Record event of the most
number of R/C airplanes in the air at the same time was thrilling! Several
Millennium R/C airplanes took to the air to participate in the record-making
attempt. Some prevailed, but a few ended up as casualties, due to a receiver
glitch and a mid-air collision. Regardless, it was neat to have been a part of
history-in-the-making. (See aerial video of Guinness' record-breaking event).

One of the most thrilling moments at SEFF was after the announcement was
made that any Millennium R/C customer who wished to be included in a group
picture could gather by their sponsor banner at the flying field. A large crowd
of people sporting some pretty original Slow Stick X's and MicroSSX's, met
with enthusiasm and smiles on their faces. Happy customers are what keep
James Karpy and his wife, Karen working hard each and every day as they try
to provide the best products and customer service in the business.

Now that the summer is here and the Fall/Spring events are passed,
Millennium R/C will be working over the Summer to develop more innovative
designs, as well as to provide ARF versions of its very popular MicroSSX
Biplane and X-Trainer. They are looking forward to coming back to SEFF next
year, expecting it will be another great event.
